June 25, 2026 - June 28, 2026
Description
2026 Annual Conference & General Meeting
New York, June 25 - 28
Registration for the 2026 ACGM is Now Open! Taking place in New York at the Manhattan School of Music from June 25 - 28, 2026.
The conference will begin with breakfast on Thursday morning and go through Sunday afternoon, and feature a more all-inclusive 4-day experience (including daily breakfasts and lunches onsite, continuing education workshops, keynote speakers, social gatherings, exchange and community opportunities, public events, and much more!), along with a new, streamlined schedule which aims to offer ample opportunity for exchange and community gathering as well as learning.
Wednesday arrival is recommended for check-in, prior to Thursday morning's conference program activities!
The ACGM will bring the Alexander Technique community together for an energizing, multi-day experience designed to inspire, connect, and support your ongoing learning. The conference features a rich lineup of continuing education workshops, engaging keynote speakers, special trainee events, and a variety of social gatherings that make it easy to meet colleagues and build lasting connections. Attendees can also look forward to opportunities for exchange and community building, along with public events and special programs that welcome broader participation. Whether you come to deepen your practice, share ideas, or reconnect with friends old and new, the Annual Conference offers something meaningful for everyone, with even more to explore throughout the week.
This year’s theme, Performance for Life: Meeting the Moment, explores what it means to perform well—on stage, in physical activity, at work, and in daily life—amid the real pressures of our time. Our aim is to position the Alexander Technique at the forefront of today’s performance conversation, expanding its reach beyond traditional academic and arts settings into health, movement leadership, and education.
