About

Elizabeth Huebner certified to teach the Alexander Technique in 1981 in London, England.  She has worked in England and Holland in Europe and Hong Kong in Asia.  She has had private practices in Minneapolis, MN, and Willimantic, CT in the US.

Elizabeth has a degree in modern dance.  She was hired to develop one of the first exercise programs in St Paul MN in 1976.  She gave these classes at local senior housing complexes.

She currently teaches the Alexander Technique both one to one and in groups.  Her private lessons use a hands on  method,  to help her clients reduce tension, increase range of motion and renew good body balance.  She has taught workshops widely including to music and drama students at Hartt School and UCONN Storrs.

She continued her performing career into her senior years locally with the Sparkettes Tap Dance troupe for 10 years and with the Asian Performing Arts Chinese dance group for 5 years.  She currently is singing in Choir Matrix a women’s choir.

She is happiest when she is singing and dancing.
