Emily has been a certified teacher of the AT for over 25 years and works with people of all ages and abilities, from high level athletes and dancers to Parkinson’s patients, and anyone in between who wants to improve their functioning.  She is employed by the Veterans Administration where she teaches AT to veterans with chronic pain. Additionally, she is on the faculty of Movement Research, a world renown dance institution, where she teaches dance improvisation and the AT.  Having recently completed a masters degree in Motor Control at Columbia University, Emily combines her experience as a dancer with a scientific understanding of the neuromotor processes that underlie how we move and learn to move.
