With my forty+ years experience as an M.AmSAT-certified Alexander Technique teacher, I continue to use my dance and movement background in my private practice to support people living with pain, movement dysfunction disorders and postural balance issues. I work with musicians, visual artist and crafters to help them recover from or avoid repetitive strain injuries and develop their performance and crafting skills. As a faculty member at numerous theater schools (Harvard, Boston University) I trained actors to hone their craft and stay injury-free. I work with sports and fitness enthusiasts to avoid strain, stiffness or injury. For people whose jobs or lifestyle (like gardening) is taking a toll on their health and wellbeing, I identify the functional issues getting in their way and address them head on. Learning the Alexander Technique is an empowering and healing process that enriches every aspect of your life. Based in Providence, RI I invite you to book a private session with me, attend one of my group classes, or set up an AT workshop demo for your community (within the Providence or Boston area). I look forward to working with you!
