About

I graduated from the Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles in 1994 at which time I also earned my teaching certification from the North American Society for Teachers of the Alexander Technique (NASTAT) later renamed AmSAT. I was professionally trained in dance and movement at the Boston Conservatory of Music, Drama, and Dance. When I discovered the Alexander Technique, I realized it was the missing link to moving through and out of restrictive unconscious habits which hinder everyone regardless of age, profession, or technical ability. I find joy in teaching the Alexander Technique knowing that the principles I teach are life-long tools that work for everyone. I believe the Technique is the best method for finding freedom in movement, pain relief, stress management, enhanced performance, and overall wellbeing. I have worked with a diversified clientele in my private Alexander Technique practice and I have also offered specialized Alexander Technique programs which include Pepperdine University Performing Arts, Cedars-Sinai Cancer Center, workshops for physical therapists, and various workplace presentations.
