N. Brooke Lieb teaches on Manhattan's Upper West Side in NYC; and in Doylestown, PA. Her private clients include singers, instrumentalists, dancers, actors and visual artists; educators; business professionals; people recovering from and interested in preventing injuries and chronic pain; and those people interested in a greater awareness of the intimate connection between body and mind.
She is currently teaching Introduction to Alexander Technique at Manhattan School of Music.
In addition to teaching Alexander Technique, Brooke offers Crystal Energy Work and is trained as a Professional Healer by FourWinds Academy, under the Direction of Vivien and Neil Schapera,. She is also trained in CranioSacral Therapy I and II and Somato Emotional Release I and II through the Upledger Institute.
Brooke offers Distance/Remote sessions via Video/Voice (Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, phone) and in person Alexander Technique and healing sessions at her Upper West Side office in New York City; and in Doylestown, PA.
Brooke served as Director of the Teacher Certification Program - TCP (2008 – 2018) at The American Center for the Alexander Technique, which ran the nation's first and leading Teacher Certification Program from 1967 to 2018. She received her certification in 1989, joined the faculty in 1992, and served as Associate Director of Training at ACAT from 2006 to 2008.
Brooke has been on the Visiting Faculty at Vivien and Neil Schapera’s Teacher Certification Program, Alexander Technique of Cincinnati; and at Nancy Romita’s ATMidAtlantic Teacher Training Apprenticeship. Brooke regularly presents at AmSAT ACGMs (2009, 2010, 2012-2018, 2020) and at The International Congress of the Alexander Technique (2008 in Lugano Switzerland; 2015 in Limerick, Ireland; 2018 in Chicago, Illinois).
