Wes Howard is a senior teacher of the Alexander Technique who regularly teaches in Urbana, Peoria and Bloomington, IL. Several times a year he travels within the US and Europe to give lessons, classes and workshops.

Wes especially enjoys working with musicians, dancers and actors to optimize performance and prevent performance related injuries. He also specializes with students suffering with chronic muscular and skeletal pain.

Wes has studied the Alexander Technique since 1988.  Residing in Urbana, Il since 1991, he certified to teach in 1994, and has kept a lively teaching practice in Urbana, Peoria and Bloomington for the past 30 years.  He studied and learned from Joan Murray for 27 years.  He has a wide ranging interest and understanding of the different lineages of the Technique having also studied with Marj Barstow, Shoshanna Kaminitz and John Nichols.
