AmSAT book club

Description

AmSAT’s Book Club is moving forward and up! In addition to weekly Fall book club meetings, the CEC will now offer three seasonal meetings throughout the year. 2026 dates are: 

Winter - February 28th

Spring - April 25

Summer - June 27

Fall - Weekly between October 3rd and December 19th (with holiday breaks)

All meetings will begin at 12pm EST/11amCST/9amPST and will be held via zoom.

As before, weekly Fall meetings will offer a deep dive into an instructional text typically read by AT teachers and trainees.  Winter and Spring meetings will consider more public-facing books about the Technique appropriate for students and AT-curious. Summer meetings will feature non-AT based books that can be read through the lens of the Technique.

The book for February 28th 2026 is Michael Gelb’s Body learning. Book selections for the remainder of 2026 will be announced at the February meeting. Book club participation satisfies Category 2 Continuing Education Requirements.
