Cranial Nerve Sequencing is designed to help therapists, counselors, and somatic practitioners deepen sensorimotor processing skill. The practice provides powerful somatic adjuncts to establish a felt sense of safety and sensory enjoyment in your own body. Safety for your clients emerges naturally. Our bodies are our instruments. The more nuanced our relationship with our own sensory appreciation is, the more accurate and subtle our awareness of our clients will be. Healthy boundaries and more trust in your own instincts as a practitioner are a natural result. Learning the principles of the Alexander Technique (which is the basis of this practice) will optimize trauma treatments skills you have already learned. You'll gain anatomical knowledge that supports deeper investigation of the Deep Brain Reorienting, EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Alexander Technique, and other trauma-informed practices - in a bottom up way.
