Know Your Movement Language Intensive

Description

This weekend intensive is for Alexander Technique teachers, somatic practitioners, yoga teachers, and dance educators who want a precise yet flexible language for seeing, describing, and guiding movement. Participants will learn how to observe movement through Laban’s movement vocabulary, and how to lead students through embodied movement experiences. We will explore systems of reference, spatial directions, actions, space measurement, and dynamics.
